We are pleased to announce that Growermetal has also achieved quality system certification according to the EN 9100:2018 standard for the Aerospace industry.

New items according to standard DIN 443

January 2021- Growermetal has enlarged its production range introducing sealing push-in caps for holes, which are manufactured according to the standard DIN 443, available in conical and cylindrical versions.

Double coiled spring washers for railway track with Dörken® coating system approved by DB

October 2020 - Another positive result out of the great cooperation between Growermetal and Dörken®: DB (Deutsche Bahn) has recently approved the Delta-Protekt® KL100 coating on Growermetal’s patented Double coiled spring washers for railway track.

July 2020 – Fasteners + Fixing Magazine/ Helicopter test

In its July edition, the "Fastener + Fixing Magazine" published an article about Grower TenKeep® washers which have been tested in presence of vibration with the so-called “Helicopter test”.

28/05/2020 - Growermetal, always focused towards technological innovation, is among the partners founders of a new research center which is based on the concept of Open Innovation. In fact from the partnership between the University Politecnico di Milano and the companies Agrati S.p.A., Growermetal S.r.l., Mario Frigerio S.p.A. and O.R.I. Martin Acciaieria and Ferriera di Brescia S.p.A was born the Joint Research Center MATT - Metal And Transformation Technologies.

Greenmetal is the new project of Growermetal which involves the company and its employees, with the aim to improve the environmental sustainability of our business activity and reduce the energy consumption as well as the production of waste.

April 2019 - We are proud to inform that Growermetal has been ranked among the 500 best performing Italian small and mid-size companies (turnover from 20 to 120 million Euros) between the years 2011-2017, according to the “Champions 2019” survey conducted by the Italian newspaper CORRIERE DELLA SERA in collaboration with the research centre "ItalyPost”.

March 2019 - Route to Fastener Innovation 2019

At the Fastener Fair Stuttgart Growermetal has been awarded by the trade magazine Fasteners & Fixing Magazine for innovation, thanks to the presentation of the new product Grower TenKeep®.

March 2019 - Growermetal has enlarged its production range introducing two new items which are manufactured according to DIN 6319: the spherical washer and the flat washer with conical seat.

New raw material warehouse

November 2018 - Growermetal has just opened a brand new raw material warehouse with a covered area of 2400 square meters (48000 square feet) capable to stock up to 4500 tons of sheet and wire in coils.

New photovoltaic power plant

April 2010 - The photovoltaic power plant installed on the roof of the warehouse building has been put into service. This solar power plant allows to produce clean energy and to reduce the CO2 emissions.
